DDG-4 Bridge

A special thanks to Jim Lawrence (SK1 USS Towers 64-67) for these pictures of the bridge of the USS Lawrence DDG-4.  The bridge of the Lawrence is currently available on display at Independence Seaport Museum at Penns Landing in Philadelphia, Pa.. In Jims own words:

"I was there about 2 years ago and didn't know it was there until I happened around a corner onto it. God, I had a flashback, it was justlike standing on the bridge of the Towers. I could hardly pull myself away to leave. I plan on going back in the next few weeks and taking a camera to get some pictures."

Jim's trip back ran into some difficulties in that the museum had a strict "No Photograpy policy".  But Jim didn't give up, he wrote them an email on his return home, and later was given a personal invitation from the VP of the museum to come back and take pictures.  Thanks Jim, without your efforts, we wouldn't have these to share.
